Lendi Vexer, the Argentine trip hop duo, releases its first long-awaited album, The Process of Disillusion, thus launching, at the same time, the label Stereotape Records.
The record consists of 13 tracks which explore the vocal variables inside the electronic music downtempo, conjugating sad and melancholic poetries with a strong critical content. It approaches musical genres as folk, song, broken beats, trip hop and a dismantled jazz reminiscent of the sound of the old school of Bristol, such as Portishead, Tricky, Massive Attack or PJ Harvey. The Theremin participates in this combination in several tracks of the record.
The album is distributed by SuperD, one of the greatest integral music distributors in the US which works through catalogue sales and has distributed this record in more than 2400 stores between the US and other countries (France, Italy, Canada, Japan, Korea, etc.). The record is sold in digital form in addition to iTunes, napster and eMusic and it is also available in music stores in Buenos Aires, in all Argentina and the rest of the world (through Faro Latino).
This process of disillusion strives to tear out those blindfolds put during our lifetimes that prevent us from contemplating reality and enjoying the present time. It aims at destroying the mutilating conformism; that artificial welfare that provides an illusion focused on the afterlife which implies the creation of a postponed life.
The Process was born from self-necessity. It is an encouraging message since it cries out for a new age guided by reason, just a bit of reason, the amount necessary to let us get out of the ontological lethargy, that lethargy that mutilates freedom and any kind of non-accepted pleasure, threatening with the worst weapons: ignorance and fear.
Lendi Vexer is formed by Natalie Naveira, composer (singer, theremin, guitars, cello, violin), and Diego Guiñazú, producer (bass, moog, programming and orchestrations). Miguel Angel Tallarita (Los Pericos) and Victor Hugo “Palito” Gervini (Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires, “Philarmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires”) participate as invited musicians playing the wind instruments in this record.

Stereotape Records was initially created at the end of 2006 as an artist’s label by Natalie Naveira and Diego Guiñazu (Lêndi Vexer) in order to release their productions and with the aim of filling the existing gap for the promotion of artists of impeccable musical careers and quality, who, by choosing non-massive genres find it very difficult to produce and sell their works through recording productions, as well as to overcome aesthetic and intellectual restrictions.
StR basically covers genres such as electronic and electroacustic music, including styles such as Trip Hop, Folk, Downtempo always based on song and “highlighting” the work’s significance and attitude. Interesting proposals will not be disregarded for not following these rules, which are not rules, but guidance.
In the near future the new editions' schedule is planned to include one or two productions per year.
